Just wanted to, once again, express my gratitude for Bhante’s discussion. His metaphor of an eye-less/”I”-less hurricane, increasingly aswirl with sabba or ayatana or khandha, was worthy of the suttas. And, for me, recalling Bhante’s exposition on “conceit” (maana) — neither better nor worse nor the same — with allusions to Freud’s das Ich and Nanamoli’s rationale — has repeatedly brought me calm. Sadhu!
